Alan Kirby said that St Pat’s are regaining form at just the right time, but knows they need something against Cork City at Turner’s Cross tonight if they are to get second place in the table and the prize of UEFA and Setanta Cup football next season.

‘We seem to be coming strong and have that little bit left in the tank,’ said midfielder Kirby, who scored twice in Friday’s 5-0 drubbing of Shamrock Rovers.

‘It’s important we finish strong and try and get second place, get into Europe and the Setanta Cup.’

Barry Ryan returns in goal while midfielder Anto Murphy is back from a ban, leaving injured Joseph Ndo as Saints’ only absentee.
