First Team Squad Update
St Patrick's Athletic have issued a squad update upon the conclusion of the 2026 season.
The club can confirm that the following players are under contract for the 2027 season:
Barry Baggley, Rhys Bartley, Ronan Boyce, Anthony Breslin, James Brown, Darragh Brunton, Joseph Byrne, Billy Canny, Luke Cullen, Ryan Edmondson, Zack Elbouzedi, Chris Forrester, Billy Hayes, Sean Hoare, Jamie Lennon, Jason McClelland, Sean McHale, Darragh Nugent, Samuel Ogungbe, Anthony Olusanya, Kian Quigley, Joe Redmond, Sam Rooney, Ryan Sheridan, Jason Spelman, Sam Steward, Niall Sullivan and Luke Turner.
The below players have signed an extension to their contract and are under contract for the 2027 season:
Aidan Keena.
The below players are out of contract and the club remain in discussions with each of them regarding new contract offers:
Joseph Anang, Kian Leavy, Sean Molloy, Romal Palmer, Simon Power and Danny Rogers.
We can confirm that Jason Folarin-Oyenuga, Luke Kehir and Max Mata will leave the club upon the expiration of their contracts later this month.
Mata arrived in Inchicore ahead of the 2026 campaign but unfortunately had an injury disrupted season which limited him to just 15 appearances. His last minute winner away at Shelbourne was a highlight.
Kehir, who joined at U13s and Folarin-Oyenuga, who joined at U17s, both had great success in our Academy before signing professional contracts. They continued their development with loan spells in the First Division over the last 2 seasons.
We wish Max, Luke and Jason well for the future.
The club will issue further updates regarding our First Team squad for 2027 in due course.
