SMART SIGNING FOR SAINTS
St Patrick's Athletic have made a double swoop, securing former Liverpool midfielder Michael Foley, as well as a major sponsorship deal with telecom giants Smart Telecom.
Foley, an Ireland under-21 player, signed for the club earlier in the week and met some of our young supporters on Thursday afternoon. Having left Anfield in May, he cannot wait for the new season to start and will be working hard in the close season as he strives for first team action with the Saints.
Meanwhile, the club are delighted to announce that they have secured the main club sponsorship for the next three years with Smart Telecom. The deal, one of the biggest in the history of the League, will see Smart replace Autoglass on the jerseys. Autoglass, who have been the club's main sponsor for a massive 16 years, will continue their relationship with the Saints in a different capacity. The jersey worn by Michael Foley (above), is not the new 2005 jersey, which will be launched shortly. Watch this space...
