#SAINTS2023 | Estonian International Kreida Signs For The Saints

St Patrick's Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Vladislav Kreida on a season long loan from Estonian Meistriliiga club Flora, subject to international clearance.

'Vlad' has 21 caps for Estonia, he made his senior international debut in June 2019 in a Euro 2020 qualifying defeat away to Germany.

He has played for his country in European qualifiers, World Cup qualifiers and the UEFA Nations League and won the Baltic Cup with Estonia in 2020.

The 23-year-old has won the Estonian Premier League three times with Flora (2019, 2020 and 2022) and also won the Estonian Cup in 2019-2020.

Kreida spent his youth career with his local club TJK Legion in Tallinn from the age of 10, before moving to Flora U19s in 2016, he quickly progressed to their U21s before making his senior debut for the club in 2018.

He went on to make over 90 appearances for Flora before recent loan spells with Helsingborgs IF (Sweden), Veres Rivne (Ukraine) and Skovde AIK (Sweden).

The midfielder met his new teammates this morning and will wear the number 17 shirt at Richmond Park.

Manager Tim Clancy said:

"We are very happy to welcome Vlad to St Pat's and it's good to get another new face into the club.

He will give us good options in the middle of the pitch. We need plenty of options in every position and Vlad will give us that.

He has got excellent experience in the game so far for someone aged 23 at both club and international level and we are really looking forward to working with him."

Vlad is delighted to be a Super Saint

It's very good to be here, I like this club and I like the city already so I can't wait to get started.

My agent texted me to say St Pat's were interested in me and I was delighted to sign.

It was nice to meet the Manager, the coaches and my new teammates today, they are all nice people and welcomed me to the club. I saw the training ground and the gym and also the stadium so everything has been perfect so far."
