GLENN LARSEN RELEASED BY THE SAINTS

St Patrick's Athletic FC have today agreed to the release of Glenn Larsen. Glenn joined the club at the start of the final round of fixtures last season. His playing position of just behind the strikers gave manager John McDonnell an added option for his team lineouts.

Glenn made ten starts and one appearance as a sub in the final eleven games of last season, his performances helping the Saints to pull clear of the relegation zone with two matches to spare.

For the 2006 season the club reverted to the standard 4-4-2 formation, leaving no free position for Glenn on the team. He has therefore taken the decision in the interests of his career to leave the club to seek another team.
