Preview:Saints Vs Dundalk (25/10/21)

St Patrick's Athletic return to action on Bank Holiday Monday as Dundalk visit Richmond Park for a second time in just a few days.

The teams faced each other on Friday night, with the Saints coming out on top on a scoreline of 3-1, thanks to goals from Billy King, Matty Smith and Darragh Burns, in the FAI Cup semi-final.

St Pat's will meet Bohemians in the final on November 28th.

After Friday's win, the focus has quickly turned to tomorrow's league meeting, with key points on the line at both ends of the table.

St Pat's Head Coach Stephen O'Donnell said:

"Friday was a great night but it's important that we park that now and finish off the league campaign well. We'll have a look at how the players are across the weekend and make sure everyone is fit and well for another big game.

We are looking forward to the match against a very strong Dundalk team, as we saw on Friday night. We have great competition for places across the team and across the squad, we're in good spirits and in good form and the players are really excited about playing in front of another vocal home support."
