The Saint (Vol 33 #10)

Welcome to Richmond Park for the fortunate 500 who are here tonight.

And welcome to your second issue of the Saint in a week, which (if I may say so) is no mean feat.

These things don't come together without a lot of work and commitment, so thanks to our excellent panel of contributors, and our designer, who does indeed make every issue stand out.

Brian Kerr's reflections on music and life, in conversation with Johnny Keegan, were great and I think we'll look at compiling them all into one PDF and share via our Twitter account.

I unfortunately wasn't able to make it to Richmond Park for last Friday night's game, so took the chance to watch the club's streaming service. What a job it is.

Really, really good. I'd heard some complaints previously, but I had none on Friday night. The coverage, analysis and quality was top class, with plenty of time given to objectively analyse different aspects of the game from the perspective of both teams.

It was great to see Conan Byrne back at Richmond, and he richly deserved the ovation he got.

So massive well done to the club, particularly Jamie Moore and Colman Hanley, and our partners at Doppler Media for putting together such a great product. It was three hours of club coverage for five euro, you couldn't wish for better value.

With the cup draw to come, we don't yet know if we will have a programme as we don't know if we will be at home, but if we are, you can be sure there will be a copy of the Saint to accompany the match. Otherwise we will see you in a few weeks. Come on the Saints!

We hope you enjoy this week's edition which you can read online or download the PDF version here.
