Search On For St Pat's ELOI Player
We've begun the search for our representative for the first ever eLeague of Ireland (eLOI) gaming series.
The series will involve all League of Ireland clubs and will be played on the PlayStation 4 platform only.
In order to be eligible, you must have a minimum of a FIFA Ultimate Team Division 3 ranking or be FIFA Ultimate Team Verified (FUT Verified)
Expressions of interest to be emailed to karl.stafford@stpatsfc.com by 12 noon this Friday (Feb 19th)
Those who make the shortlist will take part in an internal St Patrick's Athletic FIFA competition to determine our eLOI player.
Details
Specific games in the eLOI will be the FIFA 21 90 rated friendlies mode.
All clubs that are represented in the FIFA game will play as their club.
Clubs that aren't featured, will play as the Republic of Ireland Team.
The eLOI will take place over 5 weeks with clubs competing against each other online through the Gfinity platform. (Dates TBC)
All teams will take part in the eLeague, with the top 8 teams progressing to the finals.
Each Club's gaming representative will compete online every Wednesday over 5 weeks, to complete the eLOI fixtures and play for their place in the Final Series.
Selected games will be broadcast live on social media and through media partner, Extra.ie.
The LOI clubs will battle it out to become the eLOI Champions and book their spot in the FIFA Global Series.
Teams will be drawn into groups of 5 teams, with the top 8 teams qualifying for the Final Series due to take place in May 2021.
