Academy Results (September 26-27)

Three of our Academy sides were in SSE Airtricity League action over the weekend.

Yesterday afternoon our U19s suffered their first defeat of the season today against Bohemians. A Kyle Robinson brace had the Saints 2-0 up before Bohs made it 2-2 at the break and then scored two more to leadd 4-2. The Saints drew level with goals from Darragh Burns and Ugo Anny-Nzekwue, but Bohs got a late winner to win 5-4.

That result means that the Saints finished second in the group but still qualify for the next elite group phase which begins next week. The draw is later today.

On Saturday our U13s had fantastic 4-0 win against Dundalk. Bez Agbontaen, Daniel Olaiya, Adam Tyrrell and Charlie Hamilton got the goals while Shaun Hall (pictured above).
