Food Bank Up And Running
It's almost one week on since Richmond Park opened it's gates to function as a food bank.
The initiative between St Patrick's Athletic Football Club, Front Make Change, Dublin South City Partnership and the Inchicore Kilmainham Network has helped provide food supplies for people in the local area during the current COVID 19 pandemic.
The initiative featured in the Irish Times over the weekend, who interviewed St Pat's Community Officer, David Morrissey, Aoife Hannon of Inchicore-Kilmainham Network, and Andrew O'Shaughnessy, Psycotherapist with Frontline Make Change. The video can be watched at the link below.

Last Saturday saw Richmond Park open for the first time in order to receive donations from the local community and the St Patrick's Athletic family. The goodwill and generosity of both the local community and supporters of the Saints was clear to see as a number of large donations of food were handed in. David Morrissey spoke to multimedia journalist Ronan McGreevy below about the progress made on the day. Everyone at the club would like to thank everyone who donated, and appeal for further donations in the days and weeks to come in order to further support people in the community.

All donations are to be made while following all social distancing and government guidelines, while arrangement will be made to ensure these protocols are being followed. Businesses and organisations interested in making a donation are encouraged to email david.morrissey@stpatsfc.com to express their interest.
The next opportunity to make a donation of various products which are in demand at this time, such as tinned food, pasta, rice and other essentials is on Saturday between the hours of 12pm and 2pm at 125 Emmet Road Inchicore.
