St Pat's At Home
Spend 30 minutes completing sports themed activities three times per week at home to win family passes to our first match back at Richmond Park and a certificate signed by your favourite Saints player.
Have Some Fun for 90 minutes at home with St Pat's!
Family passes (2 adult and 2 child tickets) will be allocated to the first 100 families who send in their completed worksheets.
While we cannot be together at Richmond Park on Friday nights or interact with one another in the community during the week, St Patrick's Athletic FC would like to take the opportunity to reach out to our supporters, friends and the community that we have represented since 1929.
Over the next 12 weeks we will share downloadable content from our website stpatsfc.com on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10am. Take a photo of your completed worksheets and tweet us a picture to @stpatsfc with the tag #StPatsAtHome or email david.morrissey@stpatsfc.com to be eligible for prizes.
Additionally, we will be giving away some prizes for the best effort to families who record themselves completing our #StPatsAtHome activity challenges and sharing on social media.
Speaking to stpatsfc.com Club Community Officer David Morrissey said "#StPatsAtHome is an extension of our Saints and Scholars education programme which runs in local schools.
The programme has been completed by approx. 200 primary school students so far this year and while we cannot currently operate, we don't want to lose momentum.
While being fun and accessible for families, #StPatsAtHome will promotes the importance of numeracy and literacy while kids cannot be in the classroom.
We all miss normality; we all miss sports and the sense of community that attending or playing games brings to our lives, however for the moment we must take this time to stay apart and follow all HSE guidelines to keep ourselves, and our families safe. This does not mean we should switch off from physical activity as we should never forget its importance.
While we must all stay at home, we are calling on parents, kids, and teachers to join with us for the #StPatsAtHome Family Challenge which will combine education, fun, and physical activity for all the family. By running this programme online, we will be able to reach many more young people in our area and assist families with regards to education and well-being.
We want this programme to have a positive impact and we need you to get involved. Complete the worksheets, interact with us on our social media platforms, and spread the word to your family, friends, and colleagues.
Soon this will be all over and we will introduce our #StPatsAtHome 'graduates' to the crowd at Richmond Park at our next home game. Until then, we have to stay apart but let's do so together. Ní Neart Go Cur Le Chéile, there's no strength without unity.
