U15s Win Cup On Penalties
Our Under 15 Academy team have clinched their second League and Cup double in a row thanks to a dramatic 5-4 final win over Shamrock Rovers on penalties after the match ended 1-1 after extra-time at Richmond Park.
Jack O'Reilly equalised for the Saints after 10 minutes with a fantastic individual effort.
In an highly entertaining game both sides had chances to win the game but despite both sides hitting the woodwork it took a penalty shootout to decide the outcome.
2019 has been a fantastic year for our Academy sides with five major honours won by our teams. Congratulations to the players and staff of all four Academey teams on a hugely successful year.
