TEAM NEWS: UCD V St Pat's (Friday, 7.45)

St Patrick's Athletic return to SSE Airtricity League action when they make the short trip to the Bowl on Friday evening to face UCD, kick-off 7.45pm.

Pat's will be looking to build on their victory before the mid-season break when a first goal for youngster Jake Walker gave Harry Kenny's a 1-0 win over Finn Harps in Richmond Park.

In team news, Harry Kenny almost have a full squad to select from with Jamie Lennon having returned from Republic of Ireland under 21 international duty, with his sole doubt being Dave Webster who will face a late fitness test on an ankle injury picked up in training.

"It was a much needed break and everyone was delighted to get it and is now well rested," Kenny told stpatsfc.com. "We have had a great week of training, and the players have got a couple of niggles out of the way so some lads are back. Apart from Dave Webster who has a knock, we have a full squad raring to go for UCD. Hopefully there will be a good freshness with the players for this game against UCD.

"We went into the break with that win over Harps, and while we didn't play great I'm hoping that there will be a nice brightness about the lads. UCD like to play out from the back and play it through the midfield, and I'm sure Collie O'Neill will stick to his guns on that front. They have changed their system a little bit recently, but they still have the same philosophy of playing football from the back."

Earlier in the season, the Saints drew 1-1 in the Belfield Bowl, while in the most recent meeting between the sides, the Saints defeated the Students 2-0 in Richmond Park thanks to goals from Ciaran Kelly and Mikey Drennan
