Result: Saints 3 - Wexford 0

St Patrick's Athletic have progressed to the Quarter Finals of the Leinster Senior Cup following a 3-0 win against Wexford at Richmond Park.

Saints boss Harry Kenny made nine changes from the Cork game with Chris Forrester and Dave Webster in the starting XI from Friday.

After a scoreless first half, it was Forrester who broke the deadlock firing past Joe Walshe in the shed end goal after 55 minutes. Just two minutes later the Saints doubled their lead when Jake Walker headed home a Jamie Doona cross - his first senior goal of the club.

The third goal came in injury time when Paul Cleary tapped home from close range for his first senior goal for the Saints.
