TEAM NEWS: SAINTS Vs Waterford

St Patrick's Athletic host Waterford FC in the SSE Airtricity League on Friday night in Richmond Park (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Saints will be hoping for a repeat of their 1-0 win over the Blues earlier in the season in April when a Ryan Brennan goal was enough to give them the three points in Inchicore.

In team news, Liam Buckley's only absentee is striker Christy Fagan as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

Following last week's 1-0 defeat to Derry City and exit from the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup, Pat's manager Liam Buckley spoke to stpatsfc.com about bouncing back with a positive result against Waterford.

"We have still got a lot to play for in the league so we have got to put last week's disappointment behind us and be ready for what will be a tough game against Waterford. They have had a good season to date and have shown a lot over the course of the season," Buckley admitted.

"We had two tough games down there, but put in one of our best performances of the season against them in Inchicore and picked up a 1-0 win so we know we are capable of getting the points."
