FAI Cup Fixture Set For Aug 24th

Our Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup Second Round match against Derry City will take place on Friday, August 24th.

The game at the Brandywell Stadium will kick-off at 7.45pm

The second round will see two non-league teams look to extend their run in the competition. CIE Ranch, who recorded a late win over Dublin Bus in the first round, welcome First Division leaders UCD to Greenogue on Friday, August 24, with kick-off at 7.45pm.

Maynooth University Town secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Leeds in the first round and their reward is a trip to SSE Airtricity League and FAI Cup
Champions Cork City on Friday, August 24, with kick-off at 7.45pm.

All but one fixture will be played on Friday, August 24 with Shelbourne's trip to the City Calling Stadium to face Longford Town on Saturday, August 25, with kick-off at 7.30pm.
