Team News: St Pat's Vs Bohemians
St Patrick's Athletic host Bohemian FC in Richmond Park on Friday night as they look to record a Dublin derby win following the mid season break in the SSE Airtricity League (kick-off 7.45pm).
The Saints will be looking to build on their 1-1 draw two weeks ago against Shamrock Rovers, and their 4-0 victory away to the Gypsies earlier in the season as they aim to move up the league standings.
In team news, the Saints remain without Darren Dennehy through injury, however manager Liam Buckley otherwise has a full squad to select from including winger Conan Byrne who scored an early contender for goal of the season with his strike on the halfway line.
Speaking to stpatsfc.com ahead of Friday night's game in Inchicore, Saints' manager Liam Buckley spoke of his happiness with the Saints' performance the last day out against the Hoops and his hope that his side can carry that form into Friday's Dublin derby vs ‘Bohs'.
"After a good result against Rovers, the break was welcome as we could use it to get the players some rest and just assess things. We have a big second half of the season ahead and need to improve on our position.
"The first game back after the break is always a tough game, however with it being Bohs, it's one the players and supporters are looking forward to as there is a good rivalry between the sides. We performed well the last day out in Dalymount against Bohs, but I'm sure Keith Long will have them really fired up for this in order to bounce back from that particular result.
Inchicore is always buzzing on a Dublin Derby night so it should make for a good game, and one that we can hopefully come out of with three points."
