Saints Sign Kinsella On Loan From Everton
St Patrick's Athletic FC are pleased to announce the loan signing of Republic of Ireland underage international midfielder Steven Kinsella on loan from Everton.
The 17 year old joins for the rest of the domestic season having received international clearance and is registered ahead of the Saints' next SSE Airtricity League fixture away to Wexford Youths on Monday night.
Kinsella, a son of former St Patrick's Athletic defender Alan Kinsella, is a former youth player of Templeogue United who joined the Toffees in July 2014.
Such was Kinsella's ability at an early age that he was fast-tracked up two age levels in international football, making appearances for the Republic of Ireland Under-17s when he was 15 years old.
Speaking after adding Kinsella to his squad, Saints manager Liam Buckley expressed his delight at adding the winger to his squad. "Steven will be a great addition to our squad and we're really looking forward to him representing the club," Buckley told stpatsfc.com.
"There is no doubt that Steven has fantastic ability and is a great talent. He has trained with us a little bit and has fitted in well so we're looking forward to seeing him make his first appearance with us soon."
