Saints Sign ROI International Dolan On Loan
St Patrick's Athletic are happy to confirm the loan signing of Republic of Ireland underage international Anthony Dolan from Fulham for the 2016 season.
'Anto' recently joined having been in the academy and underage set-up with Fulham for a number of years and since joining the Saints, has been involved to date with the U19 squad.
Speaking following his move back to Dublin, Dolan told stpatsfc.com of his delight to be back at home and the prospect of playing regular football.
"I'm really happy to be back at home and seeing family and friends regularly again and the chance to play football with Pat's is great.
The club promotes a good style of football and I'm looking forward to getting playing matches."
Dolan has made appearances at various underage levels to date with the Republic of Ireland, and has featured at U18 level with fellow Saint Darragh Markey.
Linking up with Markey is something Dolan is looking forward to, and he is hoping to prove his worth to senior manager Liam Buckley and earn a place in the first team squad.
"I know Darragh from the Ireland set-up and a few others as well so I know the football here is good.
I'm just looking to get playing games, impressing and hopefully getting a chance with the first team. That's my goal for the year ahead."
