Bayly In Irish U18 Squad
St Patrick's Athletic's 17 year old midfielder Jack Bayly has been called up to the Republic of Ireland's U18 squad for friendlies against Wales on February 16th and 17th.
The Saints star has been rewarded for his fine form with Barry Prenderville's under 19 side with a place in Paul Doolin's squad of 22 which is completely made up of home based players. The games are set to take place in Ozier Park, Waterford (2pm) and in Tramore AFC, Waterford (7pm).
Bayly will hope to make his first appearance at international level, similar to fellow Saints' U19 players such as Tom Mulroney and Gavin Boyne who have already played for the Republic of Ireland at underage level.
Former Cherry Orchard player Bayly joined the Saints in 2013, making his senior debut for the club as a substitute in our 2-1 Leinster Senior Cup semi-final victory over Shelbourne last August.
Everyone at St Patrick's Athletic would like to congratulate Jack on his call-up.
