Liam Lands Award

Liam Buckley has been named 2013 Airtricity/SWAI Personality of the Year tonight at the annual awards in Dublin city centre this evening.

It is Liam's second time to claim the award having first claimed the accolade while manager of Sporting Fingal in 2009 - to date the only time the award has been won following a season in the First Division.

Buckley fought off tough competition from Saints' Killian Brennan and Anto Flood. The Dundalk duo of both manager Stephen Kenny and midfielder Richie Towell were also in the running, as well as Roddy Collins for his time at Athlone Town last season.

Everyone at St Patrick's Athletic would like to congratulate Liam on his deserved success.
