Saints Trio Up For Award

The St Patrick's Athletic trio of manager Liam Buckley and players Killian Brennan and Anto Flood have been nominated for the Airtricity/SWAI (Soccer Writers Association of Ireland) Personality of the Year award for 2013.

The Saints' trio have been nominated for the award along with Dundalk manager Stephen Kenny, Dundalk midfielder Richie Towell and Derry City manager Roddy Collins, with the winner due to be named on January 10th, 2014.

It is the third time that Liam Buckley has been nominated for the award. By comparison, it is a first time nomination for the award for both Killian Brennan and Anto Flood.

Previous winners from the Saints of the prestigious award include Damian Byrne (1990), Brian Kerr (1996), Pat Dolan (1998), and Paul Osam (1999).
