Pats Open Up 6 Point Gap

St Pat's have opened up a six point gap at the top of the table following tonight's 3-1 win against Bray Wanderers.

A first half goal from Anto Flood 8 minutes before the break gave the Saints the advantage heading into half-time.

John Russell doubled the lead after 67 minutes with his second league goal of the season.

Ismahil Akinade set up a nervy end to the game when he pulled a goal back for the hosts with 7 minutes remaining.

Saints fans had to thank Brendan Clarke who pulled off a great save from John Mulroy in the last minute of normal time.

There was still time for Christy Fagan to secure the points with a long distance effort giving Darren Quigley no chance in the home goal.
