Saints Out Of EA Cup

St Pat's have been knocked out of the EA Sports Cup by Shamrock Rovers at the Tallaght Stadium tonight.

An extra-time Billy Dennehy strike sealed the win for the hosts in an entertaining game infront of over 1,000 spectators.

Liam Buckley made 9 changes from the team who started against Sligo at weekend which included a debut for new signing Rene Gilmartin.

Conan Byrne, a second-half substitution, was on target for the Saints, his 8th goal in all competitions this season.
