Saints Draw In Vilnius

Ger O'Brien's first goal for the club helped secure a memorable 2-2 draw away to VMFD ┼Żalgiris tonight.

The Saints fell behind to a Pavel Kamolov goal just after 20 minutes but Conan Byrne equalized 10 minutes into the second half.

┼Żalgiris took the lead again with 20 minutes remaining with Kamil Bilinski scoring from close range following a wonderful save from Brendan Clarke.

As it was looking like St Pat's would head back to Dublin with just 1 away goal, birthday boy Ger O'Brien (29 two days ago!) riffled home from 20 yards to give the Saints a great chance of progressing to the second qualifying round.
