This Weekend's Fixture

St Patrick's Athletic host Aaron Callaghan's Bohemians in Saturday's Dublin derby in Richmond Park with kick-off at the earlier time of 5pm.

Please note a 10am pitch inspection will take place on Saturday morning.

Following Tuesday's postponement against Shelbourne in Inchicore, Liam Buckley's side will be eager to play having lost their previous game to another Dublin rival in Shamrock Rovers last week.

The Saints will be looking to repeat the form that saw them claim 7 points from a possible 9 against the Gypsies in the league last season including a 2-1 win against Bohemians in Richmond Park thanks to two goals from former Bohs striker, Christy Fagan.

Ahead of Saturday's game, Liam Buckley has almost a full squad to choose from with Dave Ryan the only absentee as he continues to recover from a hand injury. Liam Buckley is hopeful that the former Limerick keeper could be available next week.

Buckley's options are boosted by the fact that Stephen Maher is available for the first time this year having served a two match ban.

With Bohemians having made a decent start to the season, including a 0-0 draw last Monday against Shamrock Rovers, Buckley believes that Aaron Callaghan's side will be full of belief when travelling to Richmond Park.

"Any game between Pats and Bohs is always nip and tuck," Buckley told the club's official website www.stpatsfc.com.

“We may have come out on top twice last year, but there really was very little between the sides in each game.

"Aaron has brought together another good squad of players this year and has a good mixture of youth and experience.

"They're going to really test us on Saturday and we'll have to put in a good performance to get a result, and I know are lads are going to be really up for it.”
