Saints Climb To Second

St Pat's climbed above Drogheda into second place in the league following tonight's win against Shamrock Rovers.

The Saints have now won 5 of their last 6 league matches, including three consecutive Dublin Derby wins.

Sean O'Connor opened the scoring from the penalty spot after 7 minutes.

Two minutes later, Colin Hawkins put the ball into his own net following good work from Jake Carroll.

Gary McCabe's 78th minute goal resulted in a nervy end to the match, but the Saints survived 5 minutes of additional time for a famous win.
