Kenna To Join 100 Club
Having made his 99th appearance for the club against Sligo Rovers last week, Saints' captain, Conor Kenna, will join Ian Bermingman on reaching 100 appearances for the club this season.
Conor made his competitive debut for Pats in the 1-1 draw with Linfield on 26 February 2010 in Richmond Park. His league debut came on the 5 March as Pats beat Galway United 2-0, again in Inchicore.
His performances in his first month with the club were rewarded with the SWAI Airtricity League Player of the Month award in March 2010.
Later that season he represented the League of Ireland at the opening of the remodelled Aviva Stadium and was voted into the League team of the year by his fellow professionals in the PFAI.
He ended 2010 by being voted the Saints Supporters' Player of the Year.
An early season injury meant Conor missed most of 2011, but he returned in August to help secure European football for the Saints.
He has scored 3 goals for Pats, all in the league. 2 in 2010 away to Bray and Dundalk, and last year at home to Sligo.
