The centre-half who scored the dramatic equalising goal against Shamrock Rovers received a knock to his head just before half-time and was replaced by Kenny Browne.

As a result Flynn will miss Thursday's Europa League match against Široki Brijeg but will be assessed later in the week ahead of Sunday's match against UCD.

Barry Murphy who dislocated his finger in yesterday's game will be fit enough to travel with the squad for the Široki Brijeg match.

Christy Fagan who missed yesterday's match through injury will also travel with the squad, as will John Russell who is nursing a calf injury.
