Advantage Saints

St Pat's will bring a one goal lead to Iceland next week for the return leg of the Europa League first round qualifying tie.

A Christy Fagan goal (Click here to watch) 7 minutes before the break was the only goal of a tense affair.

Both sides created few changes, with IBV unlucky not to take the lead when Christian Olsen log hit the bar following a mix up in the defence.

St Pat's dominated possession in the first half, and it was a good move from defence to attack which brought about the all important goal.

The move started with Brendan Clarke and it was finished by Fagan with Ger O'Brien supplying the assist, his second in two games!

Next up for the Saints is a trip to Tallaght before the team depart for Iceland on Wednesday.
