Shels 1 - Saints 1
Christy Fagan's 43rd minute goal cancelled out a 22nd minute Brendan Clarke o.g. to earn a point for the Saints.
Roared on by a large travelling support the Saints dominated the game for large periods but were unable to find a winner.
Shels took the lead midway through the second half when Brendan McGill's effort from outside the box came back off the crossbar and bounced in off the hapless Clarke in the away goal.
Fagan's first goal for the Saints came just before half-time when he finished off a fine move with Christopher Forrester and Ian Bermingham involved.
Shels went down to 10 men after 70 minutes when Glenn Cronin was given his marching orders following a late tackle on John Russell.
Following three consecutive draws, the Saints will be looking to bag all three points against Shamrock Rovers at Richmond Park next week.
