Saints 2 - Longford 0

St Patrickís Athletic started their pre-season programme with a relatively trouble free 2-0 win over First Division Longford Town with defenders Kenny Browne and Conor Kenna doing the damage at Richmond Park on Thursday afternoon.

St Pats started this game with eight new players in their starting eleven and a new boss in the dugout, as former Sporting Fingal manager Liam Buckley took the reins for the first time in what is his second spell at the Inchicore club.
