Murphy To Join Saints 100 Club
St Patrick's Athletic midfielder, Anto Murphy, is in line to make his 100th appearance for the Saints on Friday against Bray Wanderers in the Airtricity League.
This is Anto's 3rd spell at the Club, having first signed from Cherry Orchard in 2003.
He made his debut on May 5th against Dublin City in the League Cup, scoring once in a 2-0 win.
The Saints went on to lift the League Cup trophy in a dramatic final against Longford Town at Richmond Park.
Speaking on the achievement, Saints manager, Pete Mahon, was highly supportive of one of the fans' favourites.
“It is a great achievement for Anto, and I hope he goes on to win one hundred more. It is great to have him back at the Club and I was keen to have him part of the squad, having previously managed him at UCD in 2005.”
"Recently Dave Mulcahy made a dramatic impact during his 100th appearance (watch video), so I'd be hoping for the same against Bray on Friday!"
