MAHON ADDS FLOOD TO SQUAD

St Patrick's Athletic have completed the signing of striker John Flood ahead of tonight's clash with Dundalk in Richmond Park.

The former Drogheda United and Bray Wanderers forward was a free agent after leaving the Boynesiders at the end of the 2010 season.

Speaking to STPATSFC.COM, Saints' boss Pete Mahon explained how the signing came about:

"John has been training with us for the last couple of weeks and he was very impressed with our set up.

"Getting the signing through hasn't been as easy as we thought but we received his clearance this morning and he'll go straight into the squad for tonight's game.

"John did really well against us for Drogheda last season and he gives us a bit of a different option up front."

Kick Off for tonight's game is 7.45 and tickets are available from the Saints' Superstore on Emmet Road.
