WATERFORD FRIENDLY CANCELLED
Tonight's scheduled friendly game between St Patrick's Athletic and Waterford United at Richmond Park has been cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.
Saints' boss Pete Mahon told STPATSFC.COM that the cancellation will disrupt his pre-season preparations:
" I'm bitterly disappointed that the game has been called off as it was a vital part of our preparation for the Cliftonville game.
"I'm hoping we might get another game organised between now and Thursday but with the the weather forecast as it is we may have to play on an all-weather pitch somewhere."
