SPREADING THE WORD ON ST PAT’S

Robert Libone from Citywest is this week returning to his native Cameroon and is hoping to spread the word there on his favourite local football team St Patrick's Athletic.

Robert's three sons Armstrong, Joel and Exause all play for St Pat's schoolboys and the club was delighted to respond to a request to make a small donation of football gear and balls available for children from his local hometown in Cameroon.

“I come from a town called Edea not too far from Duala and while it is an extremely poor area, everyone there loves and plays football”, said Robert.

“Local people would be very familiar with say Joseph Ndo (the former Pat's player and Cameroon International) but I doubt they will have heard about St Patrick's Athletic so perhaps I might be able to change that”.
