Clips From 1996 Added To Archive Channel

Three video clips from 1996 have been added to the stpatsfctv video channel.

FAI Cup Final 1996
Saints v Shelbourne

Alan Gough, Shelbourne goalkeeper, sent off, in tears, for handling the ball outside the box.

Midfielder Brian Flood goes in goal. (Only three substitutes were allowed on the bench and Shelbourne did not have a goalkeeper on the bench.)

Dave Campbell scores Saints goal.

With the ball in-play, Shelbourne stand-in goalkeeper Brian Flood walks into his own goal with the ball but bizarrely, the referee Pat Kelly, in his last game before retirement, does not give a goal to Saints.

The game ended tied 1-1 and Saints lost the replay.
