PAT'S UNDER 20'S UNDER PRESSURE TO WIN
The St Pat’s Under 20’s team face Shelbourne tomorrow night at Richmond Park, knowing that winning their last two games in Group B will see them qualify for for the quarter finals of the competition.
“We’re a bit fortunate that Sporting Fingal have dropped points recently but they are still hot on our heels”, said manager Paul Somers, “it’s in our own hands now with our final games against Shelbourne tomorrow night and then away to Athlone Town”.
Somers will be looking for an improved performance against their Dublin rivals, “we beat Shelbourne 3-0 last time out in the Aul and I don’t think we played as well as we could have, we’re more into our season now and more into a pattern of playing which should stand to us”.
The St Pat’s boss has a strong squad to choose from, “Craig O’callaghan, a key player for us, returns from a foot injury and we’re also hoping to play Sean Stewart who recently stepped up to the first team”.
The St Pat’s U-20’s face Shelbourne at 7.30pm at Richmond Park tomorrow night (Tuesday 21st Sept)and the club would encourage all supporters to come along and to get behind the team.
