LOCAL PRIEST SUPPORTS SAINTS AS WELL AS SINNERS

Fr Ray Warren, the parish priest of St Michael's in Inchicore is backing Pete Mahon and his local Airtricity League side St Patrick's Athletic saying “I'm there for the saints as well as the sinners”.

Attending the recent opening of the new Saints Superstore in Inchicore, Fr Warren agreed to fly the flag for St Pat's at St Michael's church across from the club on Emmet Road.

“I don't get to go to matches as often as I would like but I am kept well updated by the parishioners and I hope to make one of the games before the end of the season” said Fr Warren.

Fr Ray is pictured here flying the flag alongside Pat's players (from left to right) Shane Guthrie, Danny North, Ian Bermingham and Vinnie Faherty.
