YOUNG SAINTS FAN WINS PENALTY SHOOTOUT

Craig Nolan from St Mark's Crescent, Clondalkin won the chance to represent St Patrick's in the Aviva Stadium when he won the regional final of the Aviva Penalty Competition at Richmond park on Sunday.

The grand final of the competition will take place at halftime in the Aviva Stadium on August 4th when an Airtricty X1 take on Manchester United in the first ever soccer match in the new stadium.

Craig had to defeat other Airtricity League club representatives including Stephen Harris - Bray Wanderers, Jack Bailey - Shamrock Rovers and Myki McGilligan - UCD, as well as scoring against former League of Ireland goalkeeper Noel Mooney.

All participants however will get to enjoy the game in the new Aviva stadium as they will each receive a family ticket to go along on the night from Noel Mooney, Head of League Marketing & Promotion and sponsors Airtricity.
