Saints 3 - Bray Wanderers 0

St Patrick's Athletic leaped back to the summit of the Premier Division tonight after a clinical display against Bray at Richmond.

Two Vinny Faherty goals in the first quarter of an hour killed the game as a contest and Eddie Gormley's men could not force their way back into the game.

A Conor Sinnott goal in injury time put the icing on the cake for Pete Mahon's men for who Derek Doyle and Dave Mulcahy were excellent as they bossed the midfield.

Word then filtered through from Oriel Park that Dundalk had been beaten at home by Sporting Fingal and the Saints were back on top ahead of the mid-season break.

The action kicks off again on 26th June when the table toppers travel to in-form Sligo Rovers.
