Bohemians 1-0 St Patrick's Athletic

Bohemians won the Setanta Sports Cup final thanks to a header from Anto Murphy at Tallaght Stadium.

A crowd of 3,896 saw Murphy power in the winner on 24 minutes to ensure the Gypsies claimed the trophy after their very first season in the Setanta Sports Cup.

Bohs secured the cup when Murphy met Killian Brennan's corner from the right and headed past Gary Rogers at the near post.

Both sides were making their first appearance in the final of the cross border competition, Bohs in their maiden campaign and Pat's in their second.
