PELE TO MAKE HALFTIME APPEARANCE AT RICHMOND PARK

Pele a five year old working sheepdog is due to give a demonstration of pet training and obedience at halftime in St Patrick's Athletic's EA Sports Cup game against Bray Wanderers tomorrow tonight (Monday May 10th kick off 7.45pm).

Pele's owner Samantha Rawson is a specialist in canine behaviour and through her company The Canine College Samantha offers instructive courses in dog training.

“Pele is used to giving public displays but Richmond Park will be quite a different environment”, said Samantha, “ he quite likes to chase footballs in the park and with some of the players warming up at halftime this will be quite a test for him”.

“Hopefully”, added Samantha, “he can live up to his namesake and deliver a five star performance on the pitch”.

Tickets for the 2nd Round EA Sports Cup match are available from the club shop on Emmet Road priced at €15 (adults), €10 (students/ OAP's) and €5 child family.
