SAINTS MAKE PRE-SEASON TRIP TO WATERFORD
St. Pats will be hoping to continue their positive pre-season record with a win away to Waterford United in the RSC this Saturday, February 20th.
The new look Saints have been using the pre-season as an opportunity to develop a settled side, with new players Vinnie Faherty and Gareth Coughlan both getting on the score sheet in recent games.
Saints boss Pete Mahon is hoping to follow solid performances against Longford Town and Limerick F.C against the side that that knocked Pat's out of the FAI Cup last season.
Waterford United boss Stephen Henderson will welcome the Inchicore men to the RSC on the back of a decent pre-season campaign, with wins against a Cork Oscar Traynor selection and the Tralee Dynamos as well as a narrow 2-1 defeat to Tramore AFC.
A Blues player to watch is ex-Celtic and Livingston forward Vinny Sullivan, who got his name on the score sheet in the recent defeat to Tramore AFC.
Sullivan returns after taking a break from soccer having played Gaelic football with Dungarvan. The striker is a proven goal scorer at League of Ireland level.
The game kicks off at 3pm in the RSC on Saturday 20th February, admission is €5 for adults and children are free.
St Pat's next home game is against Linfield in the Setanta Cup on Feb 26th and tickets are currently on sale from the club shop priced at €15 adults, €10 students / OAP's and €5 children.
