St. Pat’s And Umbro Agree 4 Year Extension Deal
St Patrick's Athletic F.C. and Umbro Ireland have announced the extension of a their long standing partnership with a new 4 year kit agreement beginning in February 2010 and running until December 2013.
Under the agreement all of St. Patrick's Athletic teams will wear the famous Umbro double diamond logo on their kits, from the senior team through to the schoolboys section.
Commenting on the deal Jonathan Courtenay of Umbro said:
“We at Umbro Ireland are dedicated to supporting football in this country and extending the deal with St. Pats is a real honour for us.
Umbro work with more teams in the League of Ireland than any other brand and we also sponsor the referees and supply the official football for all League and Cup competitions.
We are looking forward to working closely with St. Pats and supplying them with the finest football product available.
The new deal will see Umbro work closer than ever before with the club as we will be taking an active interest in the new Club Shop which will be operated by Paul O'Brien.
Umbro will make more product available and are committed to helping stock the store with the latest Umbro product.
We are looking forward to hearing the fans comments on both the new Club Shop which is something to be proud of and the new Umbro range which will be “football wardrobe”.
