SAINTS OUT TO IMPRESS AGAINST LONGFORD
Following a request from Drogheda United to postpone their Leinster Senior Cup tie, St Pats will now face Longford Town in a friendly in Richmond Park this Wednesday 10th February at 7.45 pm.
Pat's boss Pete Mahon will welcome a new look Longford side as Town manager Tony Cousins has brought in a number of new players during the close season, including: Chris Deans (Bray Wanderers), Philip Byrne (Sporting Fingal), Peter Hynes (Shelbourne), Thomas Hyland and Stephen Conlon (Both Shamrock Rovers).
There will also be a return to Richmond Park for ex-Pat's midfielder John Lester, who moved to Flancare Park during the close season.
This will be Longford's second pre-season game, having been beaten 4-0 by Shamrock Rovers on February 2nd.
Following a successful training weekend in Wexford the Saints will be focussed on maintaining their positive start to their pre-season with an impressive performance.
St Pats V Longford Town kicks off at 7.45 pm on Wednesday 10th February in Richmond Park.
Match tickets are €10 adults and €5 concession.
