O’BRIEN VOTED PAT’S PLAYER OF EUROPE

Declan Fabio O'Brien was voted “St Pat's Player of Europe 2009” by supporters following his displays in the Europa League for the club this Summer.

O'Brien netted in four successive Europa League games twice against Valletta of Malta and twice against Krylya Sovetov of Russia to set a new Irish record.

O'Brien received his award at half-time in the FAI Cup match against Waterford from Keith Abbey a junior member of the Saints supporters' club.

St Pat's next home game in the League of Ireland will be against Cork City on September 25th at 7.45pm.
