ST PATS SUPPORTS LOCAL EXHIBITION AT ST MICHAELS

“Tales from the Promised Land” is an exhibition that celebrates a range of creative artwork against the backdrop of the regeneration of St Michael's Estate which lies just across the road from the club.

St Pats was delighted to make a small donation in support of the exhibition and in particular to support the “Pimp My Irish Banger Project”.

Inspired by the TV programme “Pimp My Ride” the project is a way of addressing the issue of joyriding in the St Michael's Estate area.

A collaboration between St Michael's Youth project, Common ground, artist Terry Blake and local teenagers saw the innovative use of car doors and bonnets and the customisation of these as pieces of art.

St Pat's would like to congratulate all involved with project and we would encourage people to take time out and take a tour of the exhibitions.
