Late Goal Kills Off Girls

OUR UNDER 16 GIRLS were defeated 4-1 last night taking on Huntstown away from home.

2 late goals in the last 10 minutes gave the score-line an unbalanced look. The girls really played well and deserved more from the game.

Trailing 2-0 from the early stages The Saints fought back, Nicola Scott scored her third goal in as many games gave them a fighting chance, however it was not to be.

Last week in their clash with unbeaten and league leaders St Catherine's - another Nicola Scott goal gave the girls a fantastic 1-1 draw.
