“FAIR PLAY TO PAT’S” SAYS FAIR CITY GIRL
Doireann Ní Chorragáin who plays Ali in the popular RTE soap Fair City dropped into Richmond Park today to wish St Patrick's all the best in the UEFA Cup.
St Pat's face German side Hertha Berlin in the first round of the UEFA Cup tie on Tuesday.
“They've done really well to get this far and I hope they can go that bit further”, said Dorieann who will be cheering on the Saints herself at the RDS.
Hertha Berlin hold a 2-0 lead from the first leg so St Pat's face quite a tough challenge.
“Of course it will be difficult as Hertha are a top side”, said St Pat's midfielder Derek O'Brien, but we've already knocked out top sides from Latvia and Sweden and on our game we're a match for anyone”.
Kick off for St Patrick's Athletic V's Hertha Berlin is 5pm on Tuesday 30th September at the RDS, Ballsbridge.
